Device easy to use, even if I had to go through the site canon France for the software installation, the CD enclosed in the package are faulty... Nothing special to report, good report quality/pricePerfect tool, simple to use, with excellent results. Not tested yet with pictures, but a priori I do not doubt of the result. Very good product well thought out and well documented. Getting started is easy and without problem. Good evolution of the software of the digitizing provided by previous versions. I find it unacceptable that the rapid charger does not work, the slide will lock to the output because the passage is too thick. A shame, because for the rest it is very convenient it meets beyond my expectations. I bought it for my son who was able to scan all of the courses that he missed during his hospitalization. Takes very little space (a bit like a flute) and in his case it is relatively protected in the binder. The usage is quite simple and the default settings are sufficient to get good scan. The media to photo paper are fine for the standard formats, but for others, a lack of holding that fact that the photos may fall to the inside of the device. Good quality scans. I recommend this product.. The product itself is relatively satisfactory, but it is unacceptable that the manual is only in German, and that the supplier says it is unable to provide one in French or in English. Not that happy with the set up and workings, but when you can finally get it to work, the scanned image comes out fine. I don't recommend it unless you are someone who wants to do a lot of fancy editing and touch ups with your photos.. Device very easy to use and very powerful (after reading the user guide!). Only flaw : obligation off and then on again the device after its connection with the PC. even with the instructions, the sharpness of the slides is difficult to find, I'm still looking..... This scanner has a good resolution, is not too noisy, and the option for the scan of the slide is really top! This scanner is clearly not indicated for scan a big book. It nonetheless remains effective to scan some excerpts or images quickly (even if a camera can do almost as well). I can not judge of the supplied software, have not tested. Negative Points :- a screen that serves no purpose as too small, and is significantly down on the autonomy of the battery. The screen was not present on the version 2 and not bothered by anything. In the end, I put him 3 stars rather than 4, because having been interested in the product with the release of version 2, I was expecting to have a better product, and I was disappointed. Impressive technology detection of the movement of the pages. This scanner m allowed to recover close to 1000 pages of chronicles radio of which I had the printouts and files. By placing them under the scanner I have recovered at all in a morning. With an old book and the same thing, the scan decorates the book without having to manipulate it in all directions each time to turn the page! The 2 seconds is enough....
