I went to see The butler at the cinema because it was unthinkable that I do not see this film on the big screen and now that I've seen, it is unthinkable that I do not have the DVD with me on the same day of its release! What a saga! What a casting! What an outstanding achievement!!! All the actors in this movie are BRILLIANT!!! Forest WHITAKER burst onto the screen as usual but Oprah Winfrey has a acting exceptional!! Very good summary of this "era " bloodthirsty"..... I find it ridiculous to commemorate!!??? When men speak with love and will live.... They would never have had to meet, and even less love... By : Alie comes from a rich family who is on vacation in a small town where Noah is with his father who comes from a family of very modest means. Their meeting will change their lives... The story of a love that is stronger than all, stronger than the social differences, more strong than the time, and especially stronger than the disease... This film is one of the most beautiful love stories I've seen : the actors are excellent, the chemistry between Rachel McAdams and Ryan Golsong is just beautiful, the touching story and this film is one of my favorites! What a joy to finally see this wonderful film out on blu - ray: hoping that the quality is at the rendezvous... ps: This film is based on the book by Nicholas Sparks "the pages of our love".
